Cancellation and refund policy

Why our policy works this way

Each cohort has only 12 seats, and the studio is planned around the people in it: pods of four, faculty time and project briefs are set before the first class. When someone leaves after the course starts, that seat can't be filled and the rest of the pod is affected. That's why we're generous before the start and firm after it.

If you withdraw before the course starts

• 15 days or more before the start date (4 Jan 2027): we refund everything you've paid except the ₹10,000 seat booking. Your seat booking stays valid for the next batch, once. [confirm]
• Less than 15 days before the start date, and before your first class: we refund 50% of the amount you've paid. [confirm]
• Any post-dated cheques you've given us that are not yet due are returned or not presented.
• Tell us in writing (email) or through SIA. The date we receive your request is the date we use.

After your first class

Once you've attended your first class, the programme fee is not refundable, whether you paid in one go or by instalments. Your commitment is to the full course, and any remaining post-dated cheques will be presented on their dates.

If you miss sessions, we help you catch up through the practice day and the self-paced material. Studio sessions can't be repeated or extended individually, because the timetable is fixed for the whole cohort.

If there's an emergency

If a serious medical or family emergency stops you from attending, we move your seat and the fees you've paid to the next batch, once, so nothing is lost. We'll ask for supporting documents (for example a medical certificate) and verify them before confirming the move.

Emergencies are moved to a later batch, not refunded.

If we change the dates

• If we need to move the start date or the schedule by up to three weeks, your seat, fee, credits and scholarship stay exactly as they are. We'll tell you at least 7 days in advance wherever we can. A shift of this size is not a reason for a refund.
• If we postpone by more than three weeks, or cancel a batch, you choose: move to the next batch, or a full refund of everything you've paid, including the seat booking.

Credits, scholarships and add-ons

• Credits and scholarships have no cash value. Any refund is worked out on the amount you've actually paid.
• The optional UI/UX crash course (₹20,000, plus GST if applicable) follows the same rules as the programme.
• Your own AI tool subscriptions are bought from those companies directly, so we can't refund them.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 15 working days of approval. [confirm] We'll confirm the amount by email first.
